The role is primarily with the younger boy while the oldest is in school, and afternoons all together! They also would love some light help with meal prep, light tidying, and the boys' laundry. Someone able to be flexible and supportive is essential! Mom and dad are both working from home at the moment. The rate for this role is $1000-1300/week gross for 40-47.5 hours/week guaranteed ($52,000-69,000/year), plus a healthcare reimbursement, travel reimbursement, PTO, paid sick time off, and a guaranteed income! Schedule

The core schedule is 8 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday OR Friday. They are happy to guarantee 40-47.5 hours/week with overtime as it works for the nanny. If you live an hour or so away, they are also happy to compensate extra for your travel time!

About the Children

boy, 4 - He is a funny little one, very curious, bright and outgoing. He also has big time toddler-energy! boy, 9 months - The baby is very sweet, super-chill and sleeps well.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities for this role may shift with seasonality, if the boy is in school or not, as in summer. During this spring/summer, the nanny would with both boys throughout the day, so this would include plenty of outdoor time with them, planning crafts/fun activities, and giving them meals, and tidying up after. Helping with their laundry and working alongside mom and dad who are home. During the school year, the toddler will attend a preschool program 4 days/week, from 9 AM to 2 PM, so the nanny's main responsibility would be for the baby during that time. The position may require some short-distance driving (the older boy's school is approx. 2 miles from the house), planning some playdates for the baby, and helping out with food preparation and laundry for both boys. The family would also love support from their nanny to keep the infant on a consistent nap schedule. Keeping them engaged and the baby on track to meet his developmental milestones is paramount.

Additional Information

They are a very Covid-cautious family, who are doing their best to keep themselves and their nanny safe and exposure low. Mom and Dad will likely both be working from home for the time being, and dad may soon be commuting to NYC part-time. Both parents are fully Covid vaccinated and prefer their nanny to be as well!
