Overview

This new Smart family is looking for a short-term, flexible, and engaging nanny to spend some time with their 9-month-old daughter. The schedule will be three days a week to start, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Mom has not received her work schedule yet, so the family would really love to find a person with some flexibility to take on a fourth day, either Monday or Friday, if needed. It's 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with a guarantee of 24 hours/week, $30-35/hour plus healthcare stipend, PTO, sick time, and MetroCard. The position will start the last week of June and end the last week of September. The family does plan to travel a few days in the summer, but they do not require the nanny to travel with them, and they will provide the weekly guarantee while away. The Ideal Sitter for this Job

They family would love a person who will treat the baby as if she is family! Someone kind and gentle and who has a very friendly and loving outlook on the world and life. Someone who greets her with a smile and hugs her if she falls. Someone patient and attentive to her needs. Someone who has experience working with this age group, would be fantastic. The family has a small dog, so someone comfortable around dogs is ideal!

Schedule

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with the flexibility to do Monday or Friday if needed, 9:30-5:30 pm. The position starts end of June and goes until the end of September.

About the Children

9-month-old girl: She is very active. She is a charming girl with a lot of energy. Though she is in the crawling stage, she loves to stand. She is pulling herself up on everything. She's good at self-play and self-entertainment. She has a playpen that she loves to explore. She loves to clap and laugh. She has three meals a day. She loves cheese and fruits and still takes a bottle three times a day. She takes two naps a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. She goes to music class every Wednesday.

Responsibilities

The sitter's responsibilities will be all things related to the baby, such as taking her to her classes and prepping her meals, helping with her laundry and tidying up after her. They'd love the somebody who will read to her, take her outdoors, and maintain her current routine

Additional Information

The family is vaxxed and boosted and looking for the same in their sitter. They currently live in Williamsburg but will be moving to DUMBO in Brooklyn.
