FULL TIME NANNY: Looking for a caring, energetic and kind nanny for 5 year old girl and 3 year boy UES with summers in Long Island 50 hours a week $28-33 an hour plus benefits

This lovely new Smart Sitting Family is looking for a full-time nanny to begin working with their family as soon as possible. The family really values their relationship with their nanny and would love to find someone who can make a for a long-term commitment The position will be in their home on the Upper East Side where you will be maintaining the daily routine of their 3-year-old son and soon-be 5-year-old daughter. The family is currently renovating their apartment, so they are spending this summer in Long Island. During this time the nanny is welcome to live-in Monday through Friday to avoid commuting daily. . The hours are 8 am - 6 pm. The family guarantees 40 hours a week at $28 to $33/hour, plus 10 hours of overtime, PTO, sick time, Monthly MetroCard, and healthcare reimbursement. The family would love to have someone start ASAP but for the right candidate, they have some flexibility. So apply now. The Ideal Sitter for this Job

The family is looking for someone energetic who can keep up with two active kids. Someone who really enjoys spending their days with two little bodies filled with big personalities. Someone who is organized, can stick to a schedule and loves to cook. The kids will do best with someone who is affectionate, patient, and able to set boundaries when needed. The family may travel at least twice a year, so someone who can join them would be great. It would be a plus if the person could drive and swim.

About the Children

Almost 5- She is every nanny's dream. She loves life and loves learning. She is very curious and enjoys spending time with her friend. Though she may seem a bit reserved initially, she is very outgoing and bubbly once she warms up. She's into art and loves to ride her scooter. She loves to have someone play with her. 3-year-old boy- very different from his sister because he is very outgoing from the start! He is really athletic. He loves to kick a ball, and he is Into puzzles. He has a big personality and can have big emotions at times. He is cuddly and super affectionate. He is very clingy to his mother, so he may sometimes experience separation anxiety.

Responsibilities

You would start the day by arriving at 8 am. You would help with the children's morning routine of eating breakfast and getting dressed and ready for their day. The children will be attending a summer camp for 4 hours a day. You would help mom drop them off and then head back home to tidy up, do the kid's laundry and prepare dinner. Once the kids arrive home around 1:30, you will keep them engaged, entertained, and safe. Around 4 PM, the children take a bath and have dinner at 5 or 5:30. The children can then have some screen time while waiting for their parents to arrive and give you a chance to tidy up. During the school year, the routine is the same, except the kids are in school for 3 hours a day in the afternoon,12:30 to 3:30 pm. You would still arrive at 8 am, plan some morning activities for them, feed them lunch, and then walk them to their school in the neighborhood. While they are away, you can prep dinner and tidy up. Their parents arrive at 6 pm.

Additional Information

Must be vaccinated and boosted. The family has a super chill 30lb dog. Overtime is after 40 hours, but when living-in in the Hamptons, overtime is after 44 hours. This position does require cooking and light cleaning. Someone who can drive, swim, and or travel would be a plus.
