The Ideal Sitter for this Job
The schedule would be great for someone who needs mornings off and enjoy starting their weekend on Fridays! The ideal nanny would be somewhat of a big sister or brother role model—someone who is caring, loving, fun, and enjoys spending time with children. The soon-be ten-year-old loves all things sports, so someone who can relate would be great. Someone who enjoys being active because the little one must always be kept busy. Though your main role will be working with one kid for most of the day, there are times when you will collaborate with the other nanny and help with the little girl's siblings. So someone who is a team player and is not easily overwhelmed by the busy life of a big family would be ideal—someone who is organized, reliable, and engaging. The family lives in a brownstone with lots of stairs, so someone comfortable going up and down stairs in the house is essential. Someone with classroom experience would be great!
Schedule
Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM-6:30 PM with the flexibility to stay later some days if needed.
