Are you a reliable sitter looking for an ongoing, light part-time role to supplement another passion? Do you have great infant experience and love working with babies? Are you a dog lover? Then this is the perfect gig for you! This new Smart Sitting family is looking for an active and engaging sitter to help take care of their 3.5 m/o baby while Mom and Dad are working. The core schedule is Monday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, then Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM though flexibility for more hours would be appreciated! $30 to $35/hour gross ($480 to $560 gross) for 16 hours/week

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

Do you love really engaging with a baby, and being apart of furthering their development? This family is really hoping to find someone who's not afraid to get down on the ground and fully engage in the baby's playtime. While it's okay if the nanny takes her for walks for fresh air every now and again, they really want someone who can get creative with other stimulating activities when it comes to finding new ways to engage and assist with her development during her first year! A nanny who is college-educated is ideal but not required. They would prefer a sitter with a minimum of 2 years of infant experience and is overall someone very kind, patient, and interactive! This family keeps Kosher and would love to find a sitter who is comfortable adjusting the food they bring into the home to respect their restrictions. While not required, they would also love to find a sitter who speaks Hebrew, or any secondary language really that you could also introduce the baby to! Let us know if that's you.

Schedule

Mondays 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesdays 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesdays 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Flexibility on occasion to alter this schedule a bit would be really greatly appreciated!

About the Children

Girl, 3.5 months: This baby girl is super sweet and easygoing! She's a very giggly and happy baby. Just beginning to develop her own bright and sunny personality! You could be there to help discover who she becomes. Mom and Dad absolutely adore her and hope you will too!

Responsibilities

All the baby things! The families' top priority is making sure their baby girl stays happy. Outside of typical baby duties (preparing bottles, feeding, changing diapers, bottle washing, reading, etc) the family is really hoping to find someone who isn't afraid to get on the floor and really engage in playtime. Other household tasks aren't really required, but as with any baby role, making sure you're picking up after yourself and the baby (including bottles, toys, baby's room, etc) is needed.

Additional Information

This family is looking for a COVID vaxxed and boosted sitter who is also up to date on TDAP, Measles, and flu shots. An updated pediatric CPR certification is also a must!
