PART-TIME NANNY: 7-month-old baby boy in Jersey City!

Overview

Do you love working with first time parents? Would you love to be on a team with Mom and Dad, both of whom work from home, but could use some baby support in the middle of the day? This family has a super active 7-month-old boy and he's only going to get more active! They're looking for somebody who can engage him, take him outside, and keep a close eye on him, so Mom and Dad can focus on work. It's $30 to $35/hour plus PTO & Sick Time. They have street parking close by and live near a PATH station. If you would need a public transportation stipend, let us know!

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

Mom and Dad are really looking for somebody who can keep a very good eye on him, and engage him. Somebody who can put him down for his nap and work with them as part of a team through all his major developmental milestones, like transitioning to solids! Ideally, you will understand babies and have worked with babies that are his age before.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. The family is happy to guarantee 20 hours/week.

About the Children

7-months-old, boy: Hes an active little guy! Loves to smile and laugh all day. He’s on breast milk now but they’re about to start introducing him to solids! Mom and dad prefer not to use the cry it out method with him, especially not for any longer than 20 minutes. They do try and put him down to sleep.

Responsibilities

Mom and Dad both work from home and primarily concerned with finding somebody who can keep a super close eye on him while they are in calls and meetings. They'd love to find a super engaging nanny who can take him out for walks, help him with developmental milestones, and maybe even take him to a nearby class or two! Eventually learning to read his cues will be great, so he doesn't get over tired during the day.

Additional Information

They're fully vaccinated and boosted nanny.
