This new SmartFamily is in search of a flexible, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented nanny to join their team as mom makes her transition back into the workplace.This family values someone who can engage in age-appropriate activities to foster her cognitive and motor skills. The family is happy to guarantee 12 hours/week and are offering $30/hour. The Ideal Sitter for this Job

Someone with a collaborative personality! The type of caregiver who can intuitively observe how Mom does it and then take initiative to do it themselves without being asked. Mom really wants to stress the importance of being a strong communicator and having an open mind when it comes to feedback! The ideal caregiver would also have experience with infants and come in with ideas about other creative ways to encourage her mental and physical development! The family also wants to start encouraging her budding social skills so someone who’s not afraid to chat with other parents and nannies to start forming connections for their baby girl would be great! They're also looking for somebody super fun and energetic! Who would love to see the world through baby's eyes.

Schedule

3 days/week (sitters preference) for 4 hours per day! The family's schedule is pretty flexible! They are also planning to add occasional extra hours for Saturday's as needed.

About the Children

11-months-old, girl: She is a very happy, active baby, with lots of energy! She loves music and being social with other babies. We take her to music classes, story time, art classes and play dates with other babies in the neighborhood. She is crawling and standing a lot, but not walking yet. She’s loving solid foods, especially fruits, but also still on her bottles 4x a day.

Responsibilities

Baby is your number one priority, but while she’s napping/during downtime you’ll assist with light housework. Doing laundry once a week, washing the baby’s bottles, changing her sheets on her crib. During nap time, the family would love some help folding their laundry, unloading the dishwasher, wiping them down, and emptying the diaper genie!

Additional Information

Full Covid Vaccination. Preference towards nannies that can swap a Friday for a weekend day twice per month.
