Overview

This lovely returning family loves their full-time Smart Sitter so much that they're looking to add a second one to their rotation! They're looking for a regular Sunday nanny for their two adorable boys, ages 16 months and 3. Ideally, they'd love to find a nanny to work with them from now until June 24th in NYC, and then in the Hamptons from June 24th through August. They're also open to finding a NYC person and then a separate Hamptons person come June. Please list in your preference in your application! It's $30 to $35/hour for 11 hours/week. If you're experienced with multiples, love young kids under 4, and would like to be at the beach every weekend, this position is for you! Bonus points if you drive! You will need to know how to swim if traveling to the Hamptons, since they have a pool.

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

It's a long day, so somebody active, who has energy to hang out with two small boys all day is appreciated! They are two small boys, so somebody who can have great boundaries is appreciated. The younger one is a sweet little wild man, which means you'll need eyes on him at all times! Somebody who loves toddlers and will enjoy being with them. You'll need to swim if you're working in the Hamptons since the family has a pool (they always like two adults in the pool, so you won't be expected to take both boys in, it's more a life saving measure).

Schedule

Every Sunday 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM Also, the weekend of May 17th is a huge priority! Both Saturday and Sunday, assisting Grandma while she stays with the boys.

About the Children

16 months, boy: He eats everything in sight. He walks and runs. Growing really quick! He copies everything his brother does, he talks a lot. He's high energy! Rambuncious. He has to be watched 24/7. You have to disaster plan with him. He's a cute little wild man. He's going through a biting and hitting phase and they put him on timeout for this. Ethan: Older brother, more cautious and calm. The discerning older brother type. He can have a substitute teacher mentality with new nannies, meaning he'll test you at first. He can act out at first until he gets to know you. Thats why they're looking for consistency on the weekend! He's sweet once he gets to know you.

Responsibilities

You'll help Mom and Dad with both boys each Sunday! This might mean caring for both of them all day, if the parents need to be out, or caring for one, while they take another one to a birthday party or class. It's all about team work! You'll need to follow the sleep and daily schedule they have set for both boys. Cleaning and tidying up after the activities for the day and light cooking is helpful.

Additional Information

This position is every Sunday! They will prioritize candidates who can do every Sunday in NYC AND the Hamptons, but if you can only do NYC or you can only do the Hamptons, they'll consider you.
