Are you looking for some consistent Saturday night babysitting on the UWS? Apply today before this one goes! This lovely returning SmartFamily is looking for a sitter to care for two kiddos either every Saturday or three Saturdays per month. It's $30 to $35/hour ($120 to $150/week) plus a car home and the family is happy to guarantee a 4-hour minimum every Saturday or three Saturdays per month.

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

You are responsible, reliable, and dependable with the schedule! As mentioned above, the family is willing to guarantee either every Saturday or 3 per month (which is preferred and could give you one Saturday night off per month!) but let us know what you're more interested in. You are a warm, caring sitter who will be a loving and comforting presence for the kiddos' bedtime, and if they should wake up in the night. Please note, because a car home is provided, the family would love to find a sitter who's located not too far away from them.

Schedule

3 Saturdays/month OR every Saturday 6:00/7:00 PM to 11:00 PM

About the Children

Boy, 6: Very active! Enjoys playing sports! Boy, 4: While he enjoys being active with his brother, the younger boy is also very artistic!

Responsibilities

You'll arrive at 6:00 or 7:00 PM (likely 7:00), and since the kiddos typically go to bed around 7:30/7:45 PM, you'll either be there while the parents are putting them to bed, or you'll put them to bed. It's pretty straightforward once they're asleep! You'll tidy up a bit, and hang out until their parents come home. If one of the kiddos wakes up while you're there, you'll of course care for them as needed until you can get them back to sleep. At the end of the shift, a car is provided home.
