This lovely new Smart Family is looking for a sitter 12-15 hours a week to provide some breaks in the afternoons a few days per week for the hardworking stay-at-home Mom. It's $30/hour ($360 to $450/week for 12-15 hours guaranteed per week).

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

You have experience with this age group! You're not afraid to jump right into baby's routine and confidently take the wheel; the ideal sitter for this role is passionate about lending a helping hand to give a lovely SAHM some breaks in the day. Mom will usually be around while you're there, catching up on work or getting other stuff done, so a team player who is great at working with parents in the home (and is great at distracting/keeping the attention of the kiddo) is ideal. The family is focused on finding a great personality fit!

Schedule

This family is looking for 12-15 hours per week, within the general window of 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. (could be 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. or 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. as well) each day but they're flexible on what days Monday through Friday for the right sitter! They're happy to guarantee 4-hour minimum shifts per day.

About the Children

1-year-old boy: He's a sweet little guy! He’s got some separation anxiety when away from his Mom, so someone who can guide him through those situations, and be an engaging, calming presence in the room is needed.

Responsibilities

All the baby things! You'll keep him entertained and engaged with fun and snacks while you're there. You'll be in charge of diaper duty, play time, reading books, perhaps the occasional stroll around the block, etc.
