They are a visiting international family here for the next year or so (exact date TBD) for a wonderful American adventure, and they're looking to add another nanny to their team while they're here. They have had wonderful experiences with their past caregivers and are looking forward to making a new addition to the family. They have two lovely little girls and travel frequently so if you’re looking for a position with a kind and adventurous family, apply today! A live-in nanny will likely be best for this role, but they're also open to hiring live-out candidates in the area. This family is happy to guarantee 50 hours per week, with overtime included for any hours worked over 40. Please note that they're looking for someone very flexible and adaptable. It's $30 to $35/hour plus PTO, Sick Time, and a possible Healthcare Stipend (if you need one, please chat with us ahead of time).

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

Do you have experience working on a team? Are you an experienced, warm, and loving caregiver with a good sense of humor? Do you love engaging with the children in your care, becoming truly passionate about their interests, and developing deep relationships? The ideal candidate for this role loves to PLAY! They're looking for someone excited to keep up with two adventurous and playful girls who love the outdoors! Requirements for this position also include a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. They'd also really love for someone to travel with the family when needed, as they plan on having some fun adventures while they're in the US, but this is flexible for the right candidate.

Schedule

Wednesday - Sunday 7 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Please note, it's possible the day may start a bit earlier in the fall, TBD pending the girls' school start time. The family does have another nanny as well who you will work in tandem with, and both girls are in school so there will be significant breaks throughout the day. This position requires someone flexible to work additional hours on occasion (for which there is compensation).

About the Children

Girl, 2: Super sweet and playful! She’s really into horses and ponies right now so Mom is hoping that she can spend a lot of time at the stables. Girl, 4: Fun and adventurous! They're both be in school in the fall! Both girls are super sweet, active, and love the outdoors. Due to their ages, they're also a bit all over the place, running in different directions! They’re looking for someone who can engage in fun and engaging activities with them and connect on a deep level.

Responsibilities

You’ll start at 7 AM (possibly a bit earlier, TBD) by getting the girls ready for school and driving them there. Once you return home, you can help out with general household tasks and planning fun activities and adventures for the girls. Taking initiative, and jumping in with fun activities with the girls is a high priority with this family. The family has a housekeeper but household tasks related to the girls, such as tidying their spaces are required. Once you pick the girls up from school you’ll engage with them in the afternoon and assist with any possible homework before beginning the evening routine. Mom and Dad usually like to do bedtime but will probably need you to help out with bedtime once or twice during the week!

Additional Information

They're here for the next year (exact end date TBD) and they're looking for a nanny who can stay for the full duration of that time. Driving is required for this role, but the nanny would drive the family's car. It would also be helpful to find someone willing to travel if needed!
