PART-TIME SUMMER NANNY SHARE: 2 Girls and 1 Boy in Sunset Park!
Overview
We have an awesome set of two new families looking for a creative, energetic, and fun sitter that would love to occupy three kiddos' afternoons with ice cream, crafts, tag, and all sorts of fun activities. Are you looking for a short-term, part-time babysitting position this summer? Would you love to hang with an 8-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy, and another 6-year-old girl? Keep reading! Initially, one family is looking for help for their two kids on June 18th, 20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, and 26th from 2:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Then, for six weeks starting July 8th, you'll enter into the nanny share and work Monday through Friday, 3 PM to 6 PM. It's $30/hour for the June dates with two kids, and then $35 to $40/hour for the July through August dates with all three kids! Apply ASAP since June 18th is right around the corner.
The Ideal Sitter for this Job
Ultimately this family is looking for a classic fun, camp counselor style babysitter! Somebody great at playing games, coming up with games, activities, and art projects. At the same time, you'll also be intuitive enough to know when everybody is over tired and too hot from the summer heat! Sometimes you just need to go home and veg and the parents know that. If are you flexible, creative, and skilled at managing the dynamics of multiple children, we're looking for you! The ideal candidate should be adept at handling occasional minor conflicts (three different personalities after all!) and fostering a positive, fun environment. You should be comfortable rotating care locations between two homes and adapting to different settings.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for picking up the children from summer camp at 3 P.M. each weekday, ensuring they are safely transported home or to various activities. Your day will end at 6 P.M., providing approximately 15 hours of work each week. During the initial schedule, you will care for the 8-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy only on June 18, 20, and 21, as well as on June 24, 25, and 26, from 2:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Starting July 8th, your schedule will shift to Monday through Friday, from 3 P.M. to 6 P.M. You'll engage the kids in various activities such as trips to parks, visits to Industry City, and home-based play. Ensuring their care and entertainment until their parents return is crucial. You will rotate care locations between the two families' homes, adapting to different settings as needed. There are no significant household duties expected due to the limited hours, allowing you to focus entirely on the children's needs and interests.
Additional Information
The primary family has a dog, but she will be kept separate due to the 6-year-old girl's mild allergy. Being vaccinated for COVID-19 is required to ensure a safe environment for the children. Please be sure to be up to date on CPR!
