Do you love one-on-one time with one sweet little baby? Are you looking for a light part-time job in Brooklyn? Starting at the end of August or early September, this new SmartFamily is expecting their first baby about a month from now, and they'd love some part-time help! This is a great opportunity for a person looking to pair a great part-time schedule with other opportunities. Apply today before this position is gone! It's $30 to $35/hour and the family is happy to guarantee 10-12 hours per week.

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

The ideal candidate will have experience with newborns, having worked in at least one or two previous similar roles. If a nanny out there happens to speak Italian or Mandarin, this family would love to meet you! However, this is not a requirement for the role. While this is an ongoing position, if you're interested in continuing with them full-time around January of next year, let us know in your application! But if you're only able to commit for a few months until the winter, that's perfect too.

Schedule

3 days per week, preferably 4 hour shifts! They'd definitely like one day to be Saturday, starting either in the morning or afternoon (they're flexible). And then two days during the week, they're flexible on which ones! They're looking for 4 hour shifts if possible, flexible if it's in the mornings or afternoons.

Responsibilities

All the baby things! You'll keep the little one on schedule with feedings, naps, diaper changes and play time. Other baby-related tasks might include sanitizing bottles and handling baby laundry. Your role is crucial in helping the new parents adjust and ensuring the baby's needs are met efficiently!
