Are you a part-time nanny who loves one-on-one time with a sweet little baby? Are you located within a reasonable commute to Kew Gardens, Queens? Apply now! This new SmartFamily is seeking a compassionate and reliable part-time nanny to care for their 8-month-old son. It's $30 to $35/hour and the family is happy to guarantee 16-24 hours/week.

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

The ideal nanny for this role will be CPR-certified and up-to-date, experienced with infants. You're adept at managing naps and the transition to solids! You're reliable, communicative, and have a positive and proactive attitude. Vaccinations are important to this family, so you should be fully vaccinated (TDAP, MMR, COVID-19 vaccination and recent boosters) and willing to stay updated.

Schedule

2-3 days per week 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. 16 to 24 hours/week guaranteed

About the Children

Boy, 8 months: Eating some solids! He's also breastfed and never really took to a bottle. He's earning to use a sippy cup, and is not always big on naps!

Responsibilities

The baby things! Daily responsibilities will include playtime, managing nap times, and meal times, including some solids. You will maintain a nurturing and safe environment, and handle basic baby-related household tasks like tidying up toys and keeping his space clean. Mom works from home, so she'll be around, and needs to find a nanny who works well in that environment!
