UPDATED, OPTION TO LIVE IN OR LIVE OUT, SHORT TERM FULL TIME NANNY: 3 kids in Madison, NJ!

Overview

Starting ASAP this lovely new SmartFamily in Madison, NJ is looking for a full-time nanny for 3-5 weeks while their long-term nanny is out on medical leave. They can provide the option to live in or live out, so even if you're located outside of their area in NJ, this could be a great opportunity for you! They need someone who can drive and has a spotless driving record. However, they have a car you can use to drive their kids around! They have 3 sweet kids (ages 5, 3, and 6 months); however, they have a grandparent coming in for this time period to help (mostly with care for the baby), with the plan that the nanny will only be caring for 2 kids or less at a time. Both parents have busy jobs in the medical field with early starts, so this role starts at 7 AM. Morning people, to the front! If this role sounds like a great fit for you, apply today. Please note that an updated Covid vaccine, this year's flu shot, an updated TDAP and MMR vaccines are all required for this role. It's $30/hour, and the family is happy to provide 40 hours/week.

The ideal nanny for this role is also active and enthusiastic! You love reading to and playing with the kiddos in your care, and really engaging with them and sharing their interests. You're happy to keep them busy throughout the day and ensure there's no screen time. Please note that an updated Covid vaccine, this year's flu shot, an updated TDAP and MMR vaccines are all required for this role.

Schedule

About the Children

Boy, 5: The oldest! He's in school from 8:15 to 2:30. Typical firstborn, he listens very well and is a little Type A. He's into soccer and swimming. LOVES Halloween, and haunted houses. This is his season! He also loves jellyfish. Boy, 3: He's in school 8:15 to 11:30. Second born energy! So sweet, but still a toddler, so he needs someone patient while he feels his big feelings. He's into swimming like his big brother. Really, he loves all the things his brother loves too. Still into that toddler truck and all vehicles phase! Girl, 6 months: During this time period, she'll have a grandparent there caring for her most of the time. Starting solids!

Responsibilities

You'll start the day with the morning routine: giving them breakfast, and driving the two oldest kids to preschool in the family's car! After, you'll tidy from the morning, and help out a little with the baby while her brothers are away at school. You'll get back to the preschool for 11:30 pickup for the middle child, take him home, give him lunch, and put him down for his nap. This'll be a quieter period of the day, where you might do dishes from the morning or tidy the kids' spaces, perhaps making their bed or throwing in some laundry. After his nap, you'll have play time with the 3-year-old, perhaps taking him outside or to a nearby playground. You'll head over to the school around 2:30 to grab the oldest from school and take him home. After, you might give him a snack or make sure the space is clean before leaving, and then head home!
