This fantastic new SmartFamily in South Harlem is looking for an experienced nanny to care for their little 6-month-old girl for a month or two in a great short-term, full-time gig. This family is looking for someone who is Covid-vaxxed and boosted, and updated (or willing to be) on this year’s flu shot as well. It's $30 to $35/hour gross, and the schedule will be 42.5-47.5 hours/week.

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

You are experienced with infants this age, in a full time nanny setting (not just a date night or two)! The ideal candidate for this role is a warm, loving caregiver who loves spending time with babies. You're active, energetic, and know how to keep a little one engaged throughout the day.

Schedule

Monday through Friday: 8 or 8:30 am to 5 or 5:30 PM.

About the Children

6-month-old girl: Ahead of the game developmentally! Moving around and laughing a lot. Our latest update from Mom was that baby's still just getting breastmilk right now but she'll be adding in some solids before you start with her.

Responsibilities

All the baby things! You'll help with feedings (bottles and soft solids, which you'll prepare), diapers, play time, and putting her down for naps. You'll stimulate her little mind, talking to her throughout the day to show her the world around her, and perhaps with things like reading her books and singing some songs. The family's in an elevator building (score!) so you won't need to worry much about hauling all of baby's things, like the stroller, up the stairs. Please note that the nanny will likely be off completely for a few weeks during the holidays.
