Overview

This lovely new Smart Family looking for a light-part-time nanny to join their team, starting as soon as possible. Their two sweet seven-year-old twins have been with their current nanny since they were babies. Now, they need someone to help part-time with their full schedule of after-school activities! Experience working in collaborative settings in fully-staffed households and being comfortable taking initiative in your role is very important. Both have been working on Mandarin with their current nanny for years, so a Mandarin speaker would be a huge plus in this role, but is not required. The family is overall looking for someone professional, upbeat, and responsible. Someone who can prioritize safety, while keeping things fun and creative would be ideal. The family is offering $35-40/hour and can guarantee 12 hours per week. They are looking to begin interviews immediately, so apply today!

The Ideal Sitter for this Job

A professional, organized, and experienced nanny will thrive in this position. You're extremely on top of it and can connect with the kids on their many interests! Someone really dependable with the schedule and timely is a must as well. This family would love a Mandarin speaker (though this isn’t required!).

Schedule

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 3-7pm The family will guarantee 12 hours per week. They'd ideally love to find someone with occasional flexibility to stay late on occasion or come in on additional days (with notice).

About the Children

Boy, 7: This little guy is really outgoing! Loves Pokeman, basketball, and chatting with his sister and the grown-ups in his life. Both he and his sister have a full schedule of after school activities, and love to do arts and crafts and origami when they’re not at guitar lessons! Girl, 7: A bit more shy than her brother. She loves dance and, like her brother, loves working on origami projects with their current nanny. Both kids are used to having nannies around!

Responsibilities

Each day will involve school pickup, and then getting the kiddos to their after-school activities or playdates, then home and settled down for their evening routine. Flexibility to stay later some nights to do the full bedtime routine is ideal; they would also love to find someone with the ability to come on additional days on occasion.
