Overview

We love this sweet and warm veteran Smart Family, with their two girls, 6 & 4. They've been in our network for a few years now and Dad just got a new job in Chicago, so he'll be out of town Tuesday-Thursday, until Mom and the girls join him permanently in June. They're looking to work with an experienced and professional Smart Sitter for the next four months, who can help out in the afternoons and evenings. Ability to travel with them a few times to Chicago too would be wonderful, but not a deal breaker. This family has always loved to work with organized, proactive, creative, and engaging Smart Sitters. If that's you, and you'd love a great new short-term position, apply today! The Ideal Sitter for this Job

They love a creative, warm, super helpful and proactive after-school nanny! Mom is a former nanny herself, and she knows how hard it is. She really values the work that nannies do! She'd love to work with somebody that has excellent time management skills and somebody that can slide right into help them.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 2 PM to 8 PM through June 2025. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours/week.

About the Children

Girl, 6: She's in school from 8:15 AM-2:45 PM daily. She likes to have more quiet evenings at times, but is active! She loves to ride her bike to and from school. Girl, 4: Super structured and fun! Also in school daily.

Responsibilities

You'll arrive in time for school-pick up and hang out with the girls, taking them to activities, and helping with the evening routine. Tuesdays through Thursdays, while Dad is in Chicago, you'll tag team with Mom, helping her to keep everything running smoothly. Household tasks will be helpful and you'll work with Mom to identify what will be useful week to week. If you can, traveling with them to Chicago a few times would be a huge help for them.

Additional Information

You should be up to date on your CPR and have at least two years of after-school experience in a similar type role.
